Butter Muslin: White

Indian Butter 36” Muslin, fine-woven from cotton and bleached or unbleached, is a truly utilitarian textile with a wealth of historical roots. In very hot climates, muslin can be used as an apparel material because of its light, breathable nature. Also used as a mock-up fabric for the seamstress or amateur fashion designer. It also has uses in theatre and studio photography, cooking and medicine. Muslin is also applied to the back of curtains or drapes to help give them form and preserve privacy.

This muslin is bleached white.

This fabric is sold in ¼m units. If you need 1½m of fabric, please order 6 units - multiple units will be cut as one continuous length.

Care: Machine wash 30°C. Do not bleach. Low heat iron. Tumble dry low to normal heat. We recommend testing a small piece first.
