To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of their fabulous Atelier Series, Janome has launched a new Anniversary Edition range of machines.

These contemporary styled, well illuminated, free arm sewing machines have a new look. The chassis is a little slimmer with gentle curves and there are added features to some models. The larger arm space, 210mm to the right of the needle. Easy-to- use computerised features and the superior feeding system ensure the Atelier models are equally suited to both larger projects and precision sewing. Perfect to take your sewing to a new level!

We know that reliability is the most important feature. When you sit down to sew on your Janome Atelier machine, you can be confident that it is up to any task – from stitching the sheerest silks to the thickest quilt sandwich layers. When using lightweight fabrics or piecing quilts, a straight stitch needle plate makes all the difference. 9mm models have our One Step™ Plate Converter which allows you to switch from the zig zag to the straight stitch plate at the touch of a button – no screwdrivers required!

This Anniversary Edition computerised free arm sewing machine is designed for every type of sewing and is perfect to take your sewing to a new level. It has all the essential features for dressmaking, quilting, crafting and home furnishings with stitches and settings at the touch of a button plus lots more to give you an easy professional finish!

The Janome Atelier 6 AE has 196 built-in stitches, including 10 one-step buttonholes and 1 font (4 alphabets).  All sewists will enjoy the AcuFeed™ Flex Layered Fabric Feeding System and sewing speed up to 1,000 stitches per minute.  There are 6 LED lights over 3 locations, automatic thread cutter, superior needle threader, 9mm decorative stitches and 7 levels of foot pressure.  The LCD screen has 8 direct stitch selection keys with your commonly used everyday stitches, plus easy access to functions – stitch elongation, twin needle setting, mirror image, stitch start-over, machine lock and the set menu. Inside the machine lid is the stitch chart with stitches placed together for their functionality – buttonholes, satin stitches, quilting stitches, decorative stitches, alphabets, etc. An extra wide table is supplied in the machine carton as a standard accessory.
