To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of their fabulous Atelier Series, Janome has launched a new Anniversary Edition range of machines.

These contemporary styled, well illuminated, free arm sewing machines have a new look. The chassis is a little slimmer with gentle curves and there are added features to some models. The larger arm space, 210mm to the right of the needle. Easy-to- use computerised features and the superior feeding system ensure the Atelier models are equally suited to both larger projects and precision sewing. Perfect to take your sewing to a new level!

We know that reliability is the most important feature. When you sit down to sew on your Janome Atelier machine, you can be confident that it is up to any task – from stitching the sheerest silks to the thickest quilt sandwich layers. When using lightweight fabrics or piecing quilts, a straight stitch needle plate makes all the difference. 9mm models have our One Step™ Plate Converter which allows you to switch from the zig zag to the straight stitch plate at the touch of a button – no screwdrivers required!

The Atelier 7 model in our Atelier Anniversary Edition series has been designed to meet every sewing challenge. Like its sister model the Atelier 6, there are three optional kits available, one for quilting, one for home furnishings and a third for fashion sewing.

The Atelier 7 AE celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the Atelier Series. The increased features make it very attractive; 350 built-in stitches, 11 buttonholes and 3 fonts / 7 alphabets. Quilters and Designers will enjoy the AcuFeed™ Flex Layered Fabric Feeding System and the automatic presser foot lift. With an easy change needle plate you’ll soon want to try the optional HP Professional Grade Needle Plate, HP Foot and HP2 AcuFeed Professional foot for spectacular precision sewing. The 11 buttonholes can be customised by stitch width, stitch density and buttonhole opening. The new style feed dogs have improved the fabric feeding capabilities. This machine helps you set-up your selected technique using the ‘Sewing Applications’ menu which includes Stitch Tapering and Ruler Work Mode. An extra wide table is included.
