Learn to Knit Aran by Martin Storey

Martin Storey is the master of exquisite Aran cable designs. In Learn to Knit Arans he gives budding cable enthusiasts the chance to tackle simplified Aran stitch patterns.

Following on from his Learn to Knit Cables, in which he showed readers how to work basic knit over knit stitch cables, Martin follows the same teaching formula to show step-by-step, how to create three different Aran stitch designs, in which you cross knit and purl stitches.

As with his first book, he provides a practice project following each Aran cable step-by-step instruction - a scarf, a cushion and a cafetiere cosy - as well as a gallery of additional Aran stitch patterns and swatches, each of which can be extended to create a scarf.
