Mettler Seraflex 120 Thread 130m: 1336 Vermillion

Seraflex is the ideal thread for domestic sewing machines when you want highly elastic seams on stretchy fabrics. Due to its innovative raw material PTT (37% renewable raw material) an elongation of approx. 65% is achieved - this makes all seams highly elastic, and is especially useful for those projects that need a straight stitch instead of a zig zag. Washable at 60°C.

Due to its extremely elastic properties, Seraflex is perfect for clothing, including sportswear and outdoor clothing, as well as for lingerie and underwear. 

Designed to sew seams in stretch fabrics, this thread is not suitable for quilting, overlocking or appliqué.

Tips for using Seraflex: Use Seraflex in the top thread and bobbin. To maximise stretch, wind the bobbin without tension or at a slower speed than usual.
