Beginners Patchwork: Thursday 6 February 10am-4pm

Our Beginners Patchwork workshop will give you a thorough introduction to the basic techniques of patchwork. We will cover the different fabric and thread choices for patchwork, sewing machine basics, using a rotary cutter and mat to cut out fabric, stitching a 1/4” seam allowance, marking options and accurate pressing techniques.

Class size: 4 maximum

Skills needed: This workshop is aimed at patchwork and quilting beginners - you should be comfortable with threading/using a sewing machine, and comfortable with sewing straight lines.
